PLATOGO - play together online
The founding team of the young company Nullstars consists of two experts in the fields of multimedia programming and software development. Florian Landerl is a graduate in media technology and design from the University of Applied Sciences in Hagenberg, and Jakob Sommerhuber studied informatics and software engineering at the Vienna University of Technology. Nullstars develops and operates PLATOGO (acronym for PLAy TOGether Online).
With PLATOGO departure is funding an online portal for free casual games, which allows the users not only to play games, but to actively participate. In a race game, they have the opportunity to build their own racetracks on which they can compete with their friends and other users of the portal. The users form a social network which is the basis for playing together on PLATOGO.
Both amateur and professional developers have the opportunity to publish their own games on PLATOGO free of charge. PLATOGO offers programming interfaces which allow the developers to easily integrate contents that were developed by the users into their games. Developers receive a proportionate share of the turnover that is generated by their games through advertisements placed on PLATOGO. Nullstar also produces its own games that tap the full potential of the PLATOGO programming interface.
