The White Paper focus art - fields of action and commercialization strategies, which was commissioned by departure, provides an overview of the basic framework conditions and current developments on the Viennese art market compared to international trends. Supported by the authors of the White Paper Martin Fritz (curator, director of the Festival of Regions) and Robert Temel (uma information technology GmbH) as well as numerous guest authors departure took a close look at innovation funding in the field of art and analyzed the communication, distribution and commercialization of contemporary art.
The White Paper focus art - fields of action and commercialization strategies was published in November 2008. The deadline for submission to the thematic call of the same name was March 2, 2009. The aim of the thematic call was to create a better and sustainable economic basis for all persons involved in the Viennese art market and resident in Vienna.
