The company cmotion develops and produces technical accessories for the film industry. For their successful products they have received the Cinec Award 2004 in Munich and the Technical Achievement Award 2007 of the Academy for Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) in Los Angeles.

Technological changes have led to a greater demand in film material for home cinemas, web TV or cell phone TV. Films are increasingly produced with low-priced digital cameras. cmotion now offers a completely new camera accessory for the continuous adjustment of lens and camera settings via radio remote control, which is also compatible with the new “low-priced“ cameras.

The objective of the metamorphosis project, which is funded by departure, is the development of a modular radio remote control system that is suited for both beginners and professionals. The new system facilitates individual configuration and is expandable upon demand. metamorphosis is based on the existing cmotion control system and contains technological improvements regarding functions and radio technology. It is equipped with a servo motor. The entire production takes place in Vienna.
