Springer Simone/rosa mosa

internationalization rosa mosa

The label rosa mosa was established in 2002 by designers Simone Springer and Yuji Mizobuchi, both graduates of the "postgraduate course for footwear and accessories" at the Cordwainer’s College in London. rosa mosa stands for extravagant shoe collections for men and women: innovative, wearable und functional shoes made of natural materials, mainly hand-made in small numbers. The designer team is working conceptually: they are molding their prototypes thus making their designs look like objects.

For the designers it is important to use the local resources both as regards development and production; most of their cooperation partners are Austrian. rosa mosa collections are medium to high priced niche products on the exclusive shoe market. departure provides funding for launching and establishing the rosa mosa label on the international market with the help of regular presentations on fairs such as MICAM (International Shoe Exhibition) in Milan and Première Classe (Fair for accessories) in Paris.
